This Privacy Policy explains how Jumbe collects, uses, stores and protects information when you use our mobile app, website, community features, messaging, AI assistant and related services.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect account information such as username, avatar, profile text and login identifiers; content you publish such as drink posts, images, videos, comments, discussion answers and messages; usage data such as likes, follows, reports, blocks and feature interactions; and device or diagnostic data needed to operate, secure and improve Jumbe.
2. Photos, Videos and Location
When you choose to upload media, Jumbe uses the permissions you grant to access selected photos or videos. If selected media contains location metadata, Jumbe may use that location to attach context to your published post. Jumbe does not require continuous background location tracking for the website.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to provide recipe ideas, community posting, discussions, achievements, messaging, AI assistant responses, account features, safety tools, moderation, support, troubleshooting, analytics and service improvements.
4. Community Safety
Reports, blocks and moderation signals may be used to review objectionable content, reduce abuse, remove harmful content, restrict accounts and protect the Jumbe community.
5. Sharing
Public content such as posts, comments, discussions and profile information may be visible to other users. We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate the service, comply with law, enforce policies or protect users.
6. Data Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide Jumbe, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce policies and maintain safety records. Deleted or blocked content may be retained for a limited period where required for security, legal or moderation reasons.
7. Your Choices

8. Children
Jumbe is not intended for children under 13 or below the minimum age required by local law. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product changes. Continued use of Jumbe after an update means you accept the revised policy.
